Red Cups

First off if anyone is reading this, thanks for seting aside your valuable time and using it to read some blog that you have no idea if its going to turn out well.

There's a great local pub and brewery right next to my universite. Great home made beers, fun times. The problem is after 9pm they only serve drinks in plastic cups, which ar not going to be re- used. Im so anoyed at this as you may already guessed I would be. ill get back to the bar later. The entire party seen in Canada and the States uses these stupid plastic red party cups. seen in famous american party movies. They may be re used, but not always. Even then they only last for maybee one school year then are thrown away and bought again for the next year. Just way to brittle and fragile. Way too much energy and work going into making these cups just so we can have a good time. We need to extrat oil from 1,000's of miles away effecting peoples homes and their natural environment.

What about the fact that with out these so called party cups there wouln't be many drinking games that would get to be played, such as flip cup and beer pong. In a way we are almost forced to buy these cups if we want to play these games, which arnt even needed to have a fun party in the first place. Back to the bar, yes they are worried about their glasses breaking. But drinks have been served in glass cups for a long time, they still should be.  Just something to think about.
